Is an implant right for you?

An implant replaces the root of a missing tooth and supports a crown or bridge, for a single missing tooth or several. Whether it's right for you depends on your health, your bone and your goals. Dr. Harter will review your options with you, including alternatives such as bridges, partials and dentures.

What to expect

1. Free consultation: Dr. Harter examines the area and listens to your goals.
2. 3D X-ray (CBCT): a detailed 3D image taken in our office shows your bone and nearby structures. The 3D X-ray is $250, and that fee goes toward your treatment if you move forward.
3. Your plan: we explain each step, the timeline and the cost before anything begins.
4. Placement and healing: if you need a bone graft, it's done here in our office. PRF (prepared from a small sample of your own blood) may be used to support healing. Dr. Harter will discuss whether it's right for you.
5. Your new tooth: Dr. Harter restores the implant with the final tooth.

Feeling nervous? We offer conscious sedation and nitrous oxide (laughing gas). Dr. Harter will discuss which option fits your health and treatment.

Cost and payment
